Application: Used in automatic lathes for the production of serial parts with chemical leveling and the addition of Lead (Pb) in its chemical composition, these kinds of steel present easy broken chips during milling, what provides the obtaining of parts with outstanding surface finishing and low consumption of tools.
Features: Steel with high content of sulfur, presenting outstanding milling capacity and low mechanical strength. The addition of lead provides the lubrication of the tools cutting edge, enabling the increase of the milling speed.
