The self injectable tierod load capacity may be defined by the calculation method proposed by the Engineers Ivan Joppert Jr., William Mallmann and Walter Iorio, presented at SEFE V Seminar of Engineering and Special Foundations and Geotechnics, as:
Rrup = 9,2 x Nspt x Ø x L x K, where:
Rrup - Tie-rod rupture load
Nspt - SPT average number in the region of anchoring bulb implantation
Ø - diameter of the perforating element (tricone or drill) in meters
L - anchoring length of the tierod in meters
K - coefficient subject to the type of soil defined in t/m2 according to the following table:
| Type of soil | Coefficient K (t/m²) |
| Clay/ Silt | 1,00 |
| Very clayish sand /with silt | 0,60 |
| Little clayish sand / with silt | 0,40 |
| Sand | 0,30 |
